A  fund raiser for the Majic Children's Fund was hosted by the Peterson Harley-Davidson Cycle Shop in North Miami on Sunday, March 30.  Our favorite Deejay Rick Shaw was there with the Majic 103 Bus and performed duties as master of ceremonies for the afternoon.  The crowd enjoyed music from a live oldies band with door prizes, food, drink and other festivities.  Stranahan High School was well represented with attendees from the Class of 65 as well as other SHS classes.  You could easily spot them in the crowd by the flashing dragon pins they were wearing!  During the festivities, our very own Jean Smith surprised Rick with a plaque sporting a gold record of "Goodnight My Love" as a token of appreciation from the Class of 1965.  Caught completely off guard, Rick was lost for words!  Jean also presented Rick with a $200 donation from our class.
After a busy day, the "Stranahan Gang" met at Jaxons Ice Cream Parlor in Dania to enjoy some fellowship - and ice cream!
