Memories of Sherry Wade
by John Mongiove

My name is John Mongiove. I was married to Sherry for 48 wonderful years. We met when we were 12 years old at a riding stables where we kept our horses and stayed together until she passed after a very long illness. Sherry was a most loving wife , mother and grandmother. She had a heart of gold and didn't know a stranger. She was always up to travel anywhere and were ever we went we had a good time with family and friends. She especially liked the Keys and the Bahamas, and love to watch me frolic and body surf in the ocean. We also loved to take long walks on the beach up to the time we left Ft Laud in 2002 and moved to Lecanto Fl. Shortly after moving here (about 4 months) she was told she had stage 3 ovarian cancer and was given 5 years, but being the fighter and strong woman she was ,she hung in there for 11 years. No words can or will ever express the love I had for this beautiful woman. She will always be in my heart.....Her Loving Husband....John Mongiove. A McArthur Mustang class of 65...God Bless the Dragons and ........Semper Fi
