Barry was born in Ohio and his
family first moved to Miami and then Ft. Lauderdale by
the time he was 13. He attended SHS and joined the
Marines at 17. He was stationed in Viet Nam for most of
his 3 tours where he served as a munitions expert and
sharpshooter. He was a car enthusiast and was
particularly good with Jaguars. His many interests
included carpentry, guns, horses, dogs and cooking. He
lived with enthusiasm, laughing out loud, and without
self consciousness. He spent the last several years of
his life taking care of his now, 86 yr old Mother at his
home in Port St. Lucie, Fl. He passed away on October
28, 2014 of a massive heart attack. He is survived by
his Mother, two brothers, Randy and Gregg and by the
Love of his Life, Toni Webb. |
