I was on the basketball team in the 8th & 9th grade at New River Junior High School.  I wasn't very good, but I did get some playing time and scored a few points here and there. Guys like Fred Svarney, Tom Moore, Craig Evans, John Thorla and Mitch Bennett were the outstanding players. This is me during warm-ups before a game (Circa 1962).
